Dr. Razak Jaiyeola is a renowned chartered accountant, technology consultant, and thought leader in the global accountancy profession. He serves as Chief Consultant of A.J. Silicon and Managing Partner of Razak Jaiyeola & Co., bringing decades of expertise in financial management, auditing, technology, and corporate advisory.
He is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) (2018/2019) and has served on the councils of prestigious international bodies including the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA), the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA), and the Association of Professional Bodies in Nigeria (APBN).
Dr. Jaiyeola is married and blessed with children who are themselves accomplished professionals, including four Chartered Accountants and four Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISAs).
Dr. Jaiyeola continues to play influential roles in international accountancy and governance. He is a longstanding member of the Professional Accountancy Organizations Development & Advisory Group (PAODAG) and serves on the Projects Oversight Committee of PAFA, where he actively supports digital transformation and capacity-building across professional bodies.
In recognition of his pioneering contributions to technology and the profession, Dr. Jaiyeola was awarded a Doctor of Information Technology (Honoris Causa) by the British American University, Florida, USA.
He holds a strong academic foundation in Chemistry and is an ICAN prize winner in Auditing and Professional Final examinations. His professional career began with Coopers & Lybrand, where he was rigorously trained in audit and advisory.
