Certified Information System Auditor. It is an IT Audit certification that is recognized worldwide and recognized by ALL organizations for auditing computerized system be it financial, operational etc.

Information System Auditor and Control Association. That is the name of the organization that conducts CISA.

No Minimum Requirement for the Exam. No need for credit at any level and in any subject.

It is a ONE stage exam. Do it once, if you pass, that is all.

There is no fixed date or time for the exam. The exam is written whenever you are ready.

Create account via https://www.isaca.org/create-account, make payment and after they confirm your payment, you can then schedule your exam. Payment confirmation usually takes about a week.

Online remote proctored or at in-person testing centre

The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions and you are expected to pick the best answer for each question.

ISACA member $575, Non-ISACA member $760.

a. So look for the training fee now, pay your training fee first, because you will be attending the training for 3 months before the exam is due.
b. Secondly, pay your membership fee of $185 so that you can start reaping the fruits of being a member.
c. Thirdly, pay your exam fee of $575.

4 hours’ time limit.

The candidate’s raw score is converted onto a scale of 200-800, with 450 being the passing score. Each question on the exam is weighted evenly. Questions must be answered correctly to receive credit, and there are no score deductions for incorrect

You are expected to have a minimum score of 450 out of 800.

You will be notified immediately after the exam but you will get the breakdown of your result later.

You become a member when you pay your membership
fee to ISACA.

You become a CISA when you have passed the exam and fulfilled the necessary conditions.

– October 11th 2025 for 10 Weekends (Saturdays 12noon – 5pm & Sundays 2pm – 5pm)
– N160,000 for Early bird till 25th of September and Normal fee of N175,000 after 25th of September, 2025.
